Since opening in 1999, Noble Street Charter School has ranked among the top fifteen high schools in Chicago and has been the top-ranked non-selective school. In 2006, Noble Street was ranked ranked 15th in Reading, 12th in Math, and 14th in overall Prairie State Achievement Exam scores among Chicago high schools. More than 80% of freshmen who enter Noble Street graduate from a Chicago Public high school.
An important measure of academic results is students’ academic growth. Noble Street strives to exceed the expected 1-point growth per year for cohorts of students.
